We came to Fripp Island for a family reunion. The family reunion part of our trip was wonderful. The accommodations however for our immediate family were horrible. We were really looking forward to enjoying down time away from the stresses of home. We couldn't enjoy our down time at Fripp at all, because the 2 bedroom condo at 640 New Haven was dilapidated such as:
Good regular fair food, service very pleasant
Cracks in walls
Missing light fixtures
Major need of repair and maintenance
Rust on refrigerator
We have been going to Fripp Island for a few years. The houses have always been clean. It has good and clean pools. It has a boat to go deep sea fishing and you can go to an island that has a lot of shells. The staff are very nice and friendly. The beach is very good. The golf carts are good. It was very fun. It is my favorite place to go on vacation.
Very relaxing. You take a golf cart everywhere. Nothing but beaches, pools, golf, and cold drinks.

We were so lucky that we had other family around, because we could go and unwind a little at their condos or homes. The condo we were at had reoccurring air conditioning issues. We called and complained to the Fripp Island Resort and they came and gave us fans to sleep with and made us wait another 24 hours to have an air conditioning tech come out. The fans made life bearable, but the air still could not completely keep up even after the maintenance. The resort staff should have done more to calm our nerves including: come by and personally look at the condo & to apologize, send an amenity to apologize, clean another condo and move us. We were disappointed in the level of customer concern and customer service. The condo colored our whole experience and left us leaving negatively about Fripp Island.
