The food was well prepared and quite tastefully done but the desert was not very good, large servings but lacking in flavor. The service was not pleasant. We felt like we were intruding on her time and she was quite rude and cold.
Best food I have ever eaten. Location is stunning, chef is great guy, very friendly waitresses. You have to come here.

Shrimp and Grits was best I've ever had. The bread was amazing - and butter was homemade. Really good. Outstanding view of Harbor River. And great service! Will definitely return soon!
My favorite Beaufort area restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere overlooking the Marina at Dataw Island. The food is superb and the menu is always being updated with the availability of local ingredients. Wine list is very good. I have never been disappointed with a meal and it is a terrific value. Note although Dataw Island is a private gated community they will give you a pass at the gate if going to Seetgrass Restaurant. The driver must present his/her driver's license.
